Frequently Asked Questions
Which sizes do I actually need?
16×16 and 32×32 cover browser tabs, 180×180 is the Apple touch icon, and 192×192 and 512×512 are used by Android and web app manifests. Including them all is the safest option.
Does my source image need to be square?
It gives by far the best result. A non-square image gets squashed into the square icon shape, so crop it first if needed — our Image Cropper can do that.
